As of nov. 4, 2024, the expiration date has passed to file a "petition of nomination" for those parties who were interested in becoming a 2025 candidate for "director".
It will not be necessary to hold an election this year as only one qualified candidate has been nominated for each position.
Pursuant to Washington State Law, the Yakima Tieton Irrigation District (YTID) annual election will be held on N/A. There are two Board of Directors positions open this year. The term for each of these two seats is three years, beginning on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Candidates will be announced at the Board meeting on Thursday, November 14th, after which the names of the candidates will be posted on the YTID website. Polls will be open on Tuesday, N/A from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the YTID Administrative office located at 470 Camp 4 Rd., Yakima, WA. 98908.
Any qualified district elector who certifies that he or she cannot conveniently be present to vote in person on N/A, may vote by absentee ballot per RCW 87.03.032. To receive an absentee ballot, a completed and signed request must be submitted.

To be counted, absentee ballots must conform to statutory requirements pursuant to RCW 87.03.033. Absentee ballots must be sealed in an unmarked envelope containing the ballot (s) and the completed Oath of Qualification/ Certificate of Absentee Voter and must be returned to the Yakima Tieton Irrigation District Administrative office in person or be postmarked no later than midnight on N/A, and received within five days of that date.
